Possibly…
I’m talking about my fur-children, Hurley (dog) and Chief (cat). Chief is about 2 and a half years old according to the people at the Houston SPCA. Hurley is almost a year old, again-according to the people at the Houston SPCA. I’m guessing that those are rather accurate, but give or take a few months. We adopted our kitty first and then the dog, all in the same month. Chief is a friendly, loving, cuddly kitty…when the dog isn’t with a 5 mile radius. I still feel a little bad for her since Hurley has made her life much harder than it needs to be. He is constantly chasing her and barking at her and just being crazy. If my pets were people Hurley would be the annoying little brother and Chief would be the sophisticated teenage sister who likes to go to the mall and chill with her friends.
Well, you know what I mean.
When we adopted the cat, I had no idea if she was a fan of dogs or not. But it was a chance I was willing to take. I like to think of myself as the female Cesar Milan-so I knew that I could work my magic and make them furry friends eventually.
Wrong!
It’s been about 6 months and they still fight like cats and dogs. HAHA-get it…”cats and dogs.” No?… Anyways, most of the time they are chasing each other around the house-barking and hissing. It’s really stressful sometimes.
But tonight I was witness to a glimmer of hope. A small glimmer into the future which involved Hurley and Chief becoming friends. Like real BFF type friends. The type of friends that call each other on their cell phones and talk long into the night.
Well..if they had opposable thumbs maybe. But you get the idea. I just want them to not hate each other.
Here’s a shot of the two almost friends:
Look how close they are to each other. It’s amazing. Really. I think there may be hope for these two.
But then again…the cat looks totally pissed and ready to kill! Patience…patience.

And here’s a funny commercial that made me laugh. I doubt that it’s showing here in the US. Why does Europe still get all funny commercials?

I agree, the cat looks pissed. I think you left out half the blog that the cat went on a killing rage after you took this picture. I am hoping for the best, the best of no one getting hurt!
Love the commercial, way too funny!!!
Your “kids” are very cute too, together that is!!!! Do they take after you or “T”????
