Here’s a picture of a strange product that I saw at Wal-Mart last weekend. Magic Milk Mix. Do they carry this at your neighborhood Wal-Mart?

This can be found right in between the Hot Chocolate Mix and the Nesquick Chocolate Milk Mix (my fave). You can clearly see from the label that these colorful jugs contain a flavored powder with a final destination of milk. I am a firm believer in milk mix. Nesquick was one of my main food groups when I was younger. I actually referred to it as ‘Bunny Coffee’ when I was a youngin’. Adorable right? I know that there is a strawberry milk mix from the Nesquick brand as well. I’m a chocolate lover-so I can’t vouch for the strawberry mix, but I’ve been told it’s delicious.
What flavors are found in these jars you may be asking? Here, let me tell you. From Left to Right: Banana (thanks Gwen Stefani for teaching the world how to spell this mysterious word), Creamy Orange, Bubble Gum, and Cotton Candy.
Did you just throw up a little in your mouth? I would maybe purchase the Banana mix to add to a smoothie or an ice cream shake. Maybe.
As for the rest of these flavors…I’ll pass.
And don’t worry, they are fortified with plenty of vitamins and minerals. In case you thought that blue, candy flavored powder was bad for your kids.

My age 20-months son LOVES these flavors, and now the ONLY place I could find them quit selling them. I can’t find them anywhere!!! Personally, I think the bubble gum and banana are quite gross, but the orange cream and cotton candy are palatable. I’ll stick to regular chocolate and strawberry, but he passes on those. I’m losing my mind trying to find these again. I may have to have my best friend in CO send me stock by the case load!!
My grand-daughter is autistic and will only drink milk with the banana and bubble gum flavors in it. Why have they taken this off the shelves??? When can I purchase it by the case??? It is very very hard to switch any flavors on a child that has autism. Please can you help us????
My grandson loves the banana and cotton candy. We were able to find it at our local Wal-Mart but have been told that they will not be caring it. I’ve gone to the website of the company that makes the mix, Associated Brands, INC. but didn’t find it listed.
Let me know if anyone finds a source for this product.
Thanks
My sons loves the banana, cotton candy and orange cream. Walmart was the only place that carried it and now they have stopped. We are on our last container of banana, so I am going crazy trying to find more. Please if anyone locates this product, let me know. Thanks!
HELPP!! My 4 year old grandson loves the cotton candy and yes Walmart was the only place that had it, and like your area our store has quit without notice carrying the stuff. NOW WHAT???? I have banana and bubble gum and he cries for cotton candy.
Same case with me. The only way my 5 year old wll drink milk is with the banana flavor in it. My local Walmart is also not going to carry it anymore. I have taken the container in to my local Publix and they are checking to see if they can special request it for me. I will keep you posted if they can.
My 2 year old son loves the banana and the cotton candy flavors of magic milk. We have been out for about 4 months, because our local walmart has stop selling it. I have tried the nestly quick strawberry in the place of the magica milk, but he won’t drink it!!! HELP ME PLEASE. WE NEED MAGIC MILK. If I could just order it by the case load then that would be GREAT…..anyone have any information on MAGIC MILK please pass it on to us desperate parents and grandparents. Thanks so much.

i found the milk mix on an ebay store site my kids are asking for it too.
My stepdaughters love magic milk. The banana and the cottoncandy to be exact. I have been going out of my mind looking for them. Please if anyone finds them let me know!!!
My son is hooked on his “blue milk”. He takes his
medicine in this each morning. Likewise, our area
Walmarts are empty of this product. He asks me
each morning “did you make blue milk for me”? If
anyone is able to find a way to get it, we will be anxious
to know. We are in the Dallas, Tx area.
I introduced the banana Magic Milk mix to my nephew who is austic, now it is the only way he will drink milk. We have checked 5 walmart only to be told at the last one that “corporate” decided to discontinue it. The associate suggeste we call 1800walmart and ask them to bring it back
I am having the same problem. My son is Autistic and will only drink his milk with the banana mix. I am asking everyone to call or e-mail Wal-Mart and ask them to bring back the Magic Milk Mix. If we stick together maybe we can get it back on the shelf’s. We have nothing to lose by trying. Thanks.
i called the company, they said to contact walmart and complain.they made this for walmart only.walmart quit buying this.so they no longer make it.they will make it again if walmart orders it
so everyone get on the phone and call their local walmart and ask them to get it again
Thanks to “looking for milk mix” for posting the link to the eBay store. I just paid $11.50 for a container of the cotton candy milk, it’s that urgent in my household! If I had only seen this coming I would have been better prepared!
For those folks looking for banana milk, our local Big Lots has some things called SipAhh straws for 50 cents a pack that are banana flavored. It’s almost the exact same flavor as the Magic Mix banana flavor, but the mix is down in a straw and as you drink milk through the straw, it flavors the milk like banana. Apparently those are a rarity too…I saw the same SipAhh straws in regular chocolate and strawberry flavors in the grocery store for $3 a box (but no banana), so if you find them you might want to buy up a bunch! For little kids you could just cut open the straw. Good luck guys!
They make banana flavored Nesquik in England. There are a few websites you and buy it and have it shipped here. It is also produced in Australia.
Distantbrits.com is one of the sites. The shipping is outrageous but somethings are worth the money.
My son has a speech problem and nana milk is one of the few things he could ask for by name. The Nesquik is a good substitute for the Magic milk mix.
Parents of Spectrum kids- dont dispair! my son is 8 years old, has aspergers, adhd and opitz. he was hooked on the orange cream and bannana walmart majic milk mix flavors. after calls to walmart and associated brands, i spent hours online searching for an orange cream milk mix powder. i found some, from a company called Boba Tea Direct. you can google them. they are very nice and answered my e mails. they have a product called Bubble tea mix, that aparently is used at stands in malls ect.. to make these creamy shake like drinks..one of them is called Orange Cream Bubble Tea mix. its powder in a silver mylar bag. it came today in the mail, and i mixed a couple spoonfulls into my sons Lactaid. it is not as sweet as the majic milk mix, which is a good thing i guess but it is very flavorfull and comes close to the orange cream flavor my son is hooked on. it also does not have that shocking orange color- which is good too because who really needs all that artifical coloring?! i handed him the glass and held my breath as he took a sip……… it met his seal of approval! he did a dance around the room..
this comapny also has bannana, melon, peach and a whole array of strange flavors..even the bubble gum flavored powder. they also carry syrups of all kinds- sugar free and regular- to flavor drinks with. theres even an orange flavor!! just thought id join this thread and pass this on, because my son is overjoyed and so am i, to have found a subsitute for the majic milk mix. Lisa
OMG! I stocked up on this stuff several months ago thinking that certainly they would bring it back and now I have been told that they are not. This is the ONLY way my 3 year old drinks milk and he LOVES all the flavors as the Blue cotton candy is his favorite. He doesn’t even refer to it as “milk”, he calls it “blue milk”. Mommy can I have some pink “blue milk”. What am I going to do?????
